Check a part before you pay
Each handoff and repair is signed by the organization that did it, with a fingerprint of the certificate, so a gap or an altered document shows up before money changes hands.
For lessors, parts buyers, repair stations and aviation insurers
An engine part can sell for hundreds of thousands of dollars, and its value depends entirely on its paperwork. Parts with forged release certificates have reached airline engines, and grounding aircraft to find them costs far more than the parts themselves.
Before a sale or a lease return, buyers and lessors pay specialists to reconstruct a part's history back to birth, and still rely on documents that can be copied or altered. When forged paperwork is found after installation, operators ground aircraft, pull parts and absorb the cost.
Each handoff and repair is signed by the organization that did it, with a fingerprint of the certificate, so a gap or an altered document shows up before money changes hands.
A part's full chain is one file anyone can verify, instead of weeks of records review.
If one supplier's paperwork turns out to be forged, every part it touched can be found at once.
No call needed: open the service, see the price, and run it on the spot. You are charged only when the result is delivered, and the signed result is yours to download and check.
Fingerprint release certificates and work records on your own computer and anchor them on the public ledger, so any later change is detectable.

Each party signs a small record at the moment it takes responsibility. The records chain together, so a missing, edited or forged one is caught.
| Record | Signed by | Says |
|---|---|---|
| aviation.part/1 | the manufacturer | part number, serial, and a fingerprint of the original release certificate |
| aviation.handoff/1 | the receiving organization | received this part from that organization, with this certificate fingerprint |
| aviation.work/1 | the repair station | work performed, a fingerprint of the new certificate, and the record it follows |
All records use canonical JSON, a SHA-256 fingerprint and an Ed25519 signature, the same primitives proven in our space custody work.
We are looking for one company to shape this with. You bring the real handoffs; we build it around them.
